Delegation of Tajikistan and Belarus visited the Chief Prosecutor's Office on the issue of Juvenile Justice

The delegation of Tajikistan and Belarus visited the Chief Prosecutor's Office of Georgia in order to get acquainted with Georgian experience in juvenile justice.
The working group, which was composed of the head of the Juvenile Justice Division of the Ministry of Justice of Tajikistan, the Head of Training Center of Judges of the Supreme Court, the Deputy Head of the National Center of Belarus Legislation and Legal Studies, the Deputy Chairman of Minsk City Court, the representatives of  United Nations Children's Fund and OSCE local offices, was met by the representatives of the Chief Prosecutor’s office.
The participants of the meeting discussed the results achieved in juvenile justice field in Georgia, Criminal law policy implemented towards juveniles, general statistics data, specialization of prosecutors and measures taken to ensure quality and focused on elaboration of the New Justice Code of Georgia for Juveniles and emphasized on the experience of enactment. At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their readiness of cooperation and talked about prospects for exchanging mutual experiences.
