Tbilisi City Court has accepted the evidence, submitted by the prosecution and found guilty defendant E.J. accused of violence against the minors under the subparagraph “a” of the 11 paragraph of Article 126 of Criminal Code of Georgia (two episodes).
According to the evidence, examined by the court, it was established that in October 2017, in Tbilisi, in one of the kindergartens, the teacher assistant E.J. committed violence against kindergartner, during which she threw the minor on the ground. Also, it was established that in January 2018, E.J. committed violence against another kindergartner, as a result, the minor fell to the ground. Both minors experienced physical pain, due to the actions of E.J.
The E.J. has been charged under the subparagraph “a” of the 11 paragraph of Article 126 of Criminal Code of Georgia (another type of violence, which has resulted in physical pain, committed knowingly against a minor; two episodes).
Tbilisi City Court found E.J. guilty of accusation and determined the type and the length of the conditional sentence to 1 year and 6 months.
