 The Main Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia has finished the investigation concerning Tengiz Gunava and for considerably discussion of Criminal Law case it will be sent to Municipal Court.

   The case of Criminal Law towards Tengiz Gunava was arisen with several episodes.
   Tengiz Gunava was working as the head of Regional Police of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia of Samegrelo- Zemo Svaneti, who has exceeded his duties. On 31st March, 2012, in Zugdidi at the railway station he abused his own driver when he took out the service staff arm, due to the exerted situation, the head of special operative department of Svaneti Bakur Gulava, who was there at that moment, tried to deprive the arm form T. Gunava and called T. Izoria to leave the place.  At this time T. Gunava shot the arm and Bakur Gulua was wounded in the area of left leg and then he shot to Kakhaber Izoria aiming, who was far enough from the scene and got a gunshot injury in the area of right leg. K. Izoria got a soft degree damage with the short time disorder of  health.
   With the mentioned action, Tengiz Gunava made a criminal, which is foreseen in The Code of Criminal Law of Georgia, Article 333, paragraph 3, subparagraph “B” and Article 120.
    During the working as the head of General Inspection of Ministry of Internal Affairs, with the abuse of working responsibilities, T. Gunava decided to get talons of car fuel from Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and with this way tried to appropriate the great number of fuel. On 11th August, 2012 he charged Zaza Chokheli, the head of Administrative Services of General Inspection of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, who was in his subordination, to get the talons of 3000 liters of petrol “Premium” from the department of Organize Service and Staff of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and to transfer to him. In that day Z. Chokheli received the fuel talons of 3000 liters of “Premium” with output waybill, with the totally amount of 6750 GEL and transferred to T. Gunava. Gunava, receiving the fuel talons of 6750 GEL, exceeded the working duties, did not use for the working purposes, did not give by the established law- depreciated and defalcated the great number of fuel, that gave a great damage to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
    With the mentioned action, Tengiz Gunava made a criminal, which is foreseen in The Code of Criminal Law of Georgia, Article 333 Part first and Article 182 the subparagraphs “G” and “D” of Second Part.
    He also, during the period of working as a head of General Inspection of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia decided again, with the exceed of his working duties, to get the great deal of money from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia  and to defalcate.
    In August, 2012 he demanded from Nikoloz Dzimtseishvili, the undersecretary of minister of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia to draw a bill of a great amount of money- 49 500 GEL. N. Dzimtseishvili charged Mikheil Amiranashvili, the director of department of Organized and Staff Welfare to draw the mentioned bill amount of money for T. Gunava . In the middle of August, T. Gunava charged his subordinate Zaza Chokheli, the Head of Administrative General Inspection of Ministry of Internal affairs of Georgia to take the money and to transfer to him. This last receiving 49 500 GEL from the Department of Organized and Staff Welfare immediately completely transferred to t. Gunava. T. Gunava lately claimed to formalize officially the demand of this mentioned money. For which on 24th August, 2012 on the name of N. Dzimtseishvili, the undersecretary of minister of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia was made a report by considering the hidden article about the emission of 49 500 GEL  from expense. The receipt of money in question was affirmed by T. Gunava with the output box-office order on 1st September, 2012. The indicated money was not used for working purposes by T. Gunava.  He exceeded the working duties and defalcated a great deal of money – 49 500 GEL under his possession and administration, which gave a great damage to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia with the amount of 49 500 GEL.
   With the mentioned action, Tengiz Gunava made a criminal, which is foreseen in The Code of Criminal Law of Georgia, Article 333, the first part of “E” and Article 182, the paragraphs “G” and “D” of Second part and the “B” subparagraph of part third.
